As a mother I get a real 'kick' out of seeing my girls progress.
I recently got that 'kick' from watching LM draw. She has gone from a little girl who scribbled and finished a drawing in two seconds flat to someone who takes her time and thinks about what she is trying to achieve. I honestly thought we'd never get to this stage!
Little T is a copy cat version of her sister and still in the scribbling stage. She'll progress in her own time and for now I won't expect masterpieces from her!!
One important thing I do think children need to see in terms of visual arts.........is their parents participating.
Therefore the other day the girls and I decorated some little paper girls we brought from our local art shop. Check out the difference between the three.....
